Nestled in the tropical hillside of Rincon, close to white sandy beaches, our accommodation offers guests both incredible surfing and amazing sunsets. With its unique location in the northwest corner of the island, Rincon is known throughout the world as the surfing capital of the Caribbean.

This great surfing accommodation is just minutes away from dozens of surfing spots which allows daily selection of the perfect beach according to surf conditions and your own surfing ability.

Puerto Rico is the Caribbean's version of the North Shore of Hawaii. It is blessed with good surfing conditions all year and can get very good at times. Surfing is extremely popular in Puerto Rico, that said, quiet waves are still on offer and we work always to find you the very best place to surf.

The climate is as close to perfect as it can get, averaging 83°F (22.7°C) in the winter and 85°F (29.4°C) in the summer. In other words, it's always summer! The trade winds cool the surfing breaks and the temperature decreases as you go up into mountains.

SURF LESSONS:

Xoxxi Surf School operates year round and offers instruction for both adults and kids of all ability levels. Safety is our primary focus and therefore our group lessons are limited to a maximum of three students per instructor. All our instructors are CPR certified and encourage students to enjoy their learning experience and have fun. Xoxxi offers adults five half-days of surf instruction and six nights complete with healthy breakfasts and lunches daily, and three gourmet dinners. Each evening students will have the opportunity to review a video of the day’s instruction and will receive analysis from their instructors. By the end of the week, beginners will be riding waves and more advanced students will have improved their surfing techniques.

The week begins with an assessment of students’ abilities and the assignment of instructors to students (maximum of 4 students per instructor). At the beach each surf session will begin with a 15-minute stretch class. Instructors will then help students choose the right board, give tips about ocean conditions (tides) and water safety. Students will also learn paddling skills and correct board stance.

ACCOMMODATION:

Our accommodation is set in a Villa that has six guest rooms and is open year round. The Villa is a brand new, modern property with a swimming pool, ocean views, barbeque and parking for up 10 vehicles. The activity room has a pool table, ping pong table, dart board, board games, video games and work out equipment. Only 20 minutes from Aguadilla airport and 2-3 hours from San Juan International airport, travelling to Xoxxi in Puerto Rico could not be easier.

Afternoons can be spent by the pool, at the beach, or enjoying a variety of other outdoor activities. Every vacation package also includes yoga and Pilates classes and a one-hour massage. Our cuisine is based on healthy, nutritious ingredients, prepared with gourmet flair and the occasional indulgence!!
