There are 150 rooms at the resort, but the total number of surfers is limited to 30, and those 30 have exclusive access to Pasta Point, the left reef that breaks a martini-olive’s throw from the bar and restaurant.
Dhonveli is less than 10 miles from the main airport at Male, a 30 minute transfer by speed boat. The resort has a small armada of modern and traditional and dhoni style boats for surf, dive, fishing and island hopping trips, and the surf boats are on hand at all times – on your schedule.

The Surfing:
Past Point is a long, high-performance, occasionally barreling lefthander wrapping around a coral reef, directly in front of the camp. This wave winds along the reef for 150 yards. Pasta Point is lip-smacking good in northeast to northwest winds, but barreling in straight north winds – surf able at all tides.
A short, five-minute boat ride across the channel, the island of Thaburundhoo is that islet of your dreams: small, tropical and with a left wrapping around one end and a right around the other. The right is Sultans and the left is Honky’s and what they have in common is they are two of the funniest waves you will ever ride.
It is important to remember that from Dhonveli Resort you have exclusive access to Pasta Point arguably the best wave in the Maldives and unlimited surf transfers by dhoni to the other breaks listed above on your schedule. You are not forced to go “when the boat is going”. All this surf access with the limited surfer numbers on the island makes it possible to avoid surfing with a crowd!

Your Accommodation will be in the Garden Villa: 
These are built as two separate rooms in a single storey structure. They are furnished with a double bed, a divan that can be used as a day bed, wardrobe, a mini-bar closet and a writing table with chairs; spacious enough to place another extra bed and good for family use. The overhung deck above half the room size is another bedroom with stairs from below. The spacious lavatory en suited gives an elegant look. The front façade faces the ocean.
