Costa Rica Two Coast Adventure

This is a very special surf trip taking in both the Caribbean and the Pacific coastline both offering fantastic surfing. This is a small country but includes more than 700 miles of surfing coastline on the Pacific side and around 130 miles of surfing on the Caribbean side.

Costa Rica has rapidly become the most popular surfing destination worldwide, and its not just because it has brilliant surfing conditions to suit all standards. Costa Rica surfing is to experience volcanic black sand, squeaky white sand and craggy reefs all make for a new experience round every corner.

What makes this surf trip a real gem is that it takes advantage of the real wonders of Costa Rica by visiting both coastlines and experiencing the difference in surf and geography between the caribbean and the pacific. This is an ideal trip for a surfer that is looking really to enjoy Costa Rica and be looked after from start to finish.

Day 01: Arrival

Arrival transfer to your hotel in San José. The hotel has 86 rooms. All of them are decorated in an elegant, contemporary style with airconditioning.

Day 02: San José – Punta Cocles

Transfer by shuttle bus to the Caribbean coast. This small bed and breakfast style resort is just steps away from the beautiful white sand beach of Playa Cocles and one mile south of Puerto Viejo. It has 17 rooms and the accommodation features fan, security deposit box and porch with hammock. The resort runs a rancho style restaurant, swimming pool with poolside bar, spa, snack bar and souvenir shop, plus a lounge with direct TV, magazines and books.

Day 03 & 04: Punta Cocles

Enjoy two full days of leisure to surf, to take an optional tour or just to relax.

Day 05: Punta Cocles – Jaco Beach

Private transfer to Playa Hermosa, Jacó, on the Pacific coast (approximately 5 hours). Our accommodation here is located on Hermosa Beach, near Jaco. The waves at this beach are constant during the whole year and of excellent size almost every day; that's why it is one of the best places for surfing in Costa Rica. It has 42 standard rooms with balcony or terrace, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, mini bar, safety box, bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer.

It offers the following facilities:
restaurant, bar, two swimming pools, jacuzzi, gift shop, spa, beauty parlor and wireless internet access.

Day 06 & 07: Playa Hermosa de Jaco

Enjoy two full days of leisure to surf, to take an optional tour or just to relax.

Day 08: Departure

Private ground transfer to San Jose international Airport.
