The first surf camp in the Maldives, this surf camp is on a tropical island in the northern atoll chain where the mighty cokes surf point break offers the best right hand point break in the Maldives. Across the channel within easy view of our surf camp, an equally good left, Chickens works its magic. The Maldives has become a destination for surfers looking for exotic waves but with a quality aspect and safety required in today's world. Surfing is relatively new to the Maldives, especially compared to more established activities such as scuba diving, so you will not find surf shops or a surf industry but you will find amazing surf so Maldives is now firmly on the world's surf map.
The Maldives are a group of over 1200 islands formed from coral & located south west of India in the Indian Ocean. It is a tropical island paradise with pristine clear waters and world renowned for its surfing & diving. The surf throughout the Maldives generally ranges in size from 4-8 feet, and a great variety of reef breaks exist ranging in intensity for all levels of surfer. They experience a similar surf season to that of Indonesia with the best waves being found from May to October.
Our surfing camp offers a wealth of local knowledge and a warm and friendly stay at a truly unique surfing camp. With an unsurpassed view of the surf at Cokes and Chickens, the surf camp has two large informal areas to relax in.
The top floor has a common area and is equipped with home theatre system, library, and games for the tired surfer to enjoy. The ground floor and reception area offers a juice bar and cafe with more room to refine the art of chilling out before or after a hard session in the surf.
Accommodation
8 double or twin share rooms with AC, mini fridge, ceiling fans, hot water ensuite and closet. All rooms open to communal areas for relaxation. Also all linen and room towels are provided

Surf breaks
You have 2 of the best surf breaks in the Maldives at your door with Coke’s & Chickens, however all North Male surfing points can be accessed from Colas Guest House. There are Dhoni or dinghy transfers available daily, Cokes is an accessible paddle out close to the surf camp just 50mtrs away.
Chickens - Eastern reef of North Male Atoll, this long, excellent left-hander has two sections with an enjoyable thin peeling racing lip. Best winds are NW-NNE (offshore). Cokes is an accessible paddle out close to the surf camp just 50mtrs away.
Cokes – Also at the eastern reef of North Male Atoll, this wave is a short but intense ride that is perfect for barrels with a steep barreling takeoff, then a very shallow inside section that opens up even more than the takeoff. Ideal on a straight south swell and winds NW. Named after the Coca-Cola factory on the island, beautiful view of palm fringed beach from the surf zone with access by boat only.
Lohis – Right out the front of Hudhuran Fushi Island Resort on the eastern reef of North Male Atoll - Good and hollow left-hander with two sections. Need big SE swells and high tides to work well. Best during NW-NE offshore wind
Ninjas - North Male Atoll break out the front of Kanifinolhu Resort. This slow right-hander is good for beginners and long-boarders. Best on W-NW winds with a moderate S swell. It was named Ninjas due to the Japanese riders that love the break.
Honkey's - One of the most consistent waves of North Male Atoll off the island of Thamburudhoo which is uninhabited. This is an excellent, long, world-class right-hander. The take-off is a steep outside peak called 'Phantoms', which slingshots into a very long, walled, super fast section called the 'Pinnacles’. Rides are 100 to 150 metres it is best on high tide with any wind from W to N and is only accessed by boat.
Sultans – Easy spot located on the Thumuroodhoo atoll. Excellent and long right-hander, that can become very walled and long but only with big swells form the south, One of the most consistent waves of the Male atolls that never closes out even on large swells. It is best at high tide and with west to north winds.
