A surfing trip to Bali is both mystical and exciting and all located with a backdrop of 1000 temples throughout the island.

No region in Indonesia has a broader variety of world-class waves that are so easily accessible., but for every wave you have heard of, or dreamed about, there are three or four that are less known. And once you get to know them, you will wonder why you’ve never dreamed of them.

Surfing tourism is one of the major industries of Bali – which has been developed for all levels of surfers from beginners to pros. Bali’s Bohemian vibe is relaxed and friendly. The greater Kuta area at the base of the Bukit Peninsula - bordering the long stretch of Kuta Beach - is a hive of high end stores, surf shops, boutiques restaurants, food carts, clubs and hotels of all shapes and sizes and open air stalls with local vendors selling their crafts. 

Surfing:

The surf in Bali is generally not huge, but most often in the 2-6 foot range (shoulder-high to double overhead) and because of the number of surf breaks and the quality and consistency of the waves in Bali, it is still possible to find a many places to surf with only a small to moderate crowd. 

Bali picks up the swells from the Southern Ocean and from April to November will see consistent surf of up to 6ft. This is also the dry season so its the best time to come. That said the rest of the year still receives surf from 2-4ft. It is boardshorts all year round so don't forget your sunscreen. 

Accommodation:

Your accommodation will be in the Nirvana House which is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa, with sweeping terrace, and open air dining and entertainment area. All floors are elegant marble and slate, and the walls are made of natural ‘batik’ stone. Colorful glass blocks are placed throughout the natural walls so as to let light flow through the Nirvana House, as well as to provide a glowing and unique presence at night. Romance and luxury is what guests experience in the Nirvana House.

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and satellite TV. What you will notice in each room is that all materials are traditional, while the high ceilings and large open spaces is truly a fusion of modern luxury and traditional Balinese style.
