This perfect surfing spot has 365 sunny days a year which makes this surfing location simply one of the best for all year sunshine and waves, a privileged place.

Our surfing camp is situated just 40 meters from the best part of Baía Formosa's beach. When the tide is low, natural pools are formed just in front of the accommodation for our surfing guests to enjoy long and relaxing baths.

Walking along the beach, you will find the Pontal do Surf on your right, where the best waves in the region are and these are nearly directly by our accommodation. Thanks to the offshore wind and waves in the area, Baía Formosa is one of the best places to surf in Brazil and is still relatively unknown to surf trip adventurers.

Baía Formosa has 26 km of exotic beaches, with transparent blue and green waters. Some of the most beautiful beaches are the Olhos D'Água Beach, the Coqueiral beach and the Golfinhos beach, which is close to Baía Formosa's centre. A little bit further you can find the beautiful Sagi beach with its famous dunes.

Baía Formosa is a surfer’s and nature lover’s paradise.

Adventure sports lovers will enjoy enormously this privileged place. You can find excellent surfing conditions for all the levels. Surfing competitions are organised in Baía Formosa annually so you may have the pleasure of catching one of these. The beautiful white sandy beaches are an irresistible invitation to go jogging, to play volleyball and football, to swim or to take baths in natural pools formed by the low tide. The area wild nature area makes the excursions and walks particularly interesting. You can hike at the “Mata do Estrela” - a spectacular natural rainforest reserve, situated just a few kilometres away from La Bonita. This was declared by RPPN – Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural in 2000. You can visit and take a bath in the beautiful Araraquara lagoon. It is also called Coca-Cola lagoon for its particular colour due to the high concentration of iodine salts. Other alternatives could be cycling and horse riding; or getting know the diverse types of fishing in Baía Formosa, like the Marlin and other big size species. You can go for a boat trip or try an unforgettable “buggy ride”, the best way to visit the unique and special places that this region offers.

In total integration with nature and in a rustic style, but without forgetting any detail, the design and construction has been achieved to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for our surfers. Green areas with ideal spots to relax and rest, in combination with a spectacular panoramic sight of the beach and the sea, make this an ideal choice. Among trees and gardens, you will find cosy corners to rest and read or just to admire the landscape. Hammocks everywhere, a beautiful swimming pool and our chill out deck overlooking the sea with a cosy bar. Corners that will be the perfect place to enjoy magical moments, during your stay in our accommodation. There is a “Mata Atlântica” -a small rainforest area, next to the hotel. It is our obligation and responsibility to preserve it. “To preserve the nature” is one of Xoxxi motto's.

All our rooms have beautiful views and many of them have splendid terraces. We have 16 rooms in our surf accommodation of all different size in our hotel. All of them have been carefully decorated in the pure traditional Brazilian style. Rustic wooden furniture, natural fabrics and bright colours, in addition to comfortable amenities like air conditioning, satellite TV, telephones, well-equipped bathrooms and minibars.

All surfers will enjoy fresh fish and seafood, Brazilian traditional dishes and the exotic regional cuisine. We offer a complete and varied breakfast included in your trip. A selection of tropical fruits to start with, and also delicious cooked meats, cheeses, eggs, homemade cakes and other specialities.
