Malika Surf Camp, born in the beach of Malika, is located in the beach break of Yoff, in the north coast of Senegal, 10 minutes from Dakar. Yoff is the best beach break spot in the North, with a huge beach, clean water and long waves with 2 sections, right and left breaks and seveal spots to choose.

If you want to discover the Senegal waves and you are already an intermediate – advanced level, we will bring you by car all over the Senegal surfing spots. We can bring you to surf the reef around Dakar, the beach breaks in the south or the bay in the north, according to your level and the weather conditions. We leave Yoff in the morning and we come back in the evening, after some good surf session all around.

The Surf Camp offers you the chance to stay really close to the beach, and to choose where you want to surf; you can be in Dakar and surf the reef of Ngor, Ouakam, Alamdies or stay in Yoff and surf the beach break... or doing both in the same day! Every wave you want is just at the doorstep!
We offer our guests a beach break with all the facilities you need: umbrella, toilets and shower, bar and restaurant, fast food, shops, beach volley.

The Surf Camp is totally integrate with local population and you can have the chance to mix the surfing with the local culture.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Most of the swells are from the North, it means that on the North coast you can find waves all year. In winter, with the big swells, the beach breaks on the North, like Yoff, can be a mess. Yoff allows the surfschool to operate in safety with big conditions, and lifeguards work all the year. When the swells from the North are too big, we go surf on the South coast: the reef around Dakar or the point of Yene and Somone. In the summer there are glassy waves, perfect for intermediate surfers. To reach Dakar and the reef is 10 minutes by car, to reach the point on the South is 1 hour by car. At the camp we provide daily housekeeping and Senegal cooking with rice, fresh fish, cous cous, vegetable and season fruits. Yoff is a fishing village where you can find Senegal skills in a good mix with services for tourists, like bank, pharmacy, first help hospital, shop with international food, internet coffee, bars.

MALIKA SURFHOUSE:

The Malika Surfhouse is close to the beach, 100 meters by foot to the surf spot!

At the Malika surf house you can find the right atmosphere like in a family: we can play drums with our friends, have a coffee or just rest in the shade. You can take your time and organize your stay as you want. We have a double room and a shared room with toilets in common and a double room with private toilet, we provide a big breakfast and dinner, you can have mineral water and coffee and you can use the kitchen during the day.
