As far as the photos/resources--if you would like to receive material upon completion of my trip--I would be delighted to share my S.American experiences with your company. Perhaps, it would give further information for travellers (including other single females like myself) who may be interested in travelling in new lands--but are intimidated at first.

It's excellent to have this type of vacation and is the first time I have ever gone to bed at 8pm ready for a 6am surf, I just could not get enough of it and the waves just kept on coming and coming. Oh! Boy I am I coming back again but I must say that I would never have thought of me surfing overseas until I came across your company, this has changed me forever. Aloha to you all. Thank you so much for a well organised Surf Tour. I have been on many a holiday and this is my first Surfing Vacation and all I can say is a big thank you for making me smile from ear to ear. Your reservations team were great, I was worried when I got to resort at first, not used to so much independence with out representatives but then got into the hang of it and the surf guides were so patient and good at helping us surf waves worthwhile. We just wanted to tell you what a great time we had in Agadir, Morocco. Fatima and Mammie were excellent chefs, Phillipe and Vanessa were great hosts and provided a very nice evening feast. Your instructor is one of the nicest guys we have ever met, a great surfer and a great instructor. We had an awesome time, good surfing and excellent experiences. Thanks again, we will probably be in contact with you when I get back from serving overseas to book our next trip.

Tim in Lanzarote is a true inspiration to anyone with the slightest interest in learning to surf. He is a gifted teacher and his knowledge of everything to do with surfing, the sea, safety, the weather; the history of surfing etc. is unsurpassed. He is tireless in his instruction and in his praise of his pupil's achievements. I don't care how good a surfer you are, you owe it to yourself to spend at least one week of your life in the company of this great man. He is a true master of his art and I consider myself very privileged to have been instructed by him.

PS: The sun in Lanzarote is very, very hot even in Winter and you should take factor 30 sun block as an absolute minimum. Especially if you are a bit thin on top!

I'm just back from our holiday in Lanzarote and I just want to say I had a fantastic time, the instructor Claudio and hostess Annuke were really-really great.  Our surfing totally improved during the surf school but I have to say by the end of the 5 day I couldn't lift my body off the board at all, they worked us really hard which was brilliant.

Just back from a week in Sagres, Portugal. Had an excellent time, we were really lucky with the waves, offshore most days!! The guys at the camp were really chilled and helpful. Cheers for a great trip.

I went on a trip to Lanzarote a couple of weeks ago and would like to report what a wonderful time I had. The beach and scenery were gorgeous and the waves were pretty good, but what made the whole trip was the instructors. Tim was fantastic. I learned more in a week from him than I had in two and a half years of surfing alone. His knowledge and passion for surfing were amazing. If anyone is looking for a vacation to improve their surfing and visit a gorgeous setting I highly recommend the Lanzarote package!

Each year I venture to tropical zones for a surf with the family and this year I thought I would stay in the US, I looked at California and Hawaii but ended up doing the Florida thing! All I can say is that you guys made it happen brilliant, wonderful surfing 3ft to 4ft each day at Cocoa Beach, fantastic waves, easy to get about and you guys helped us with all the Florida attraction stuff to, and even the finer details of recommending a grab sea food restaurant. World Class.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for your recommendation of the Surf Camp in Portugal.  The camp was great with a really enthusiatic team looking after us and turning us into surfers... complete with being given surfer names!  The house was a great place to hang out and all of the people were really friendly.  We were also shown a lot of the surrounding area. Also, the catering was great and we were invited to join the housemates for dinner both in the house and in nearby restaurants.

The lessons were superb and my girlfriend was testament to this as she did not take to it immediately, but with some additional coaching and encouragement, she is now planning our next surfing trip.

I hope we can book another holiday with you in the future as our first experience of working with you has been so positive.

This is the 1st time I have surfed the Maldives and can guarantee it wont be the last thanks to Xoxxi. Its been a lifelong dream to go and surf these warm water waves and this did not disappoint in 1 way what so ever. From the speedboat ride to the island there was not one thing i could complain about. We stayed for 10 nights, which to be honest, is more than enough surfing for any normal standard surfer. You could probably get the same results from 1 week as it is so intensely surfastic relaxing. The only down side to the holiday was of my own doing, i forgot my reef shoes and my feet got cut bad on the third surf day, but after a couple days I recovered enough to go back in.

Travelled from the United Kingdom to Florida and joined your surfing experience for my very first surf trip and I have not stopped smiling since I returned to the cooler weather in Europe. Had such fun at Cocoa Beach and nice waves at 4ft to 6ft on average which was hairy at first for me learning but once I got to grips with it I loved it big time. The surf was simply fun to enjoy, and thanks for the advice over some of the local restuarants to visit, and I enjoy the rodeo you suggested south of Orlando, that was different but really great fun. Orlando only being 35 minutes away with your short cuts you sugested made life so much fun, the girlfriend thinks I am the best holiday planner now in the world, thanks to you guys.

G-Land is the most amazing place, it has a great atmosphere and staying at the camp was a great way to enjoy it! Being able to wake up and walk down to the beach from the front door and surf every morning is the best, especially when its an uncrowded surf break with really cool locals.

The accommodation was really cool and itself looks beautiful in the G-Land sun, the surroundings are really peaceful. I had some of the best surfs of my life within in my time staying at G-Land!

We spend 12 days in the Dominican Republic this winter and those 12 days were all good! Our main goal was (wave) surfing and relaxing. We certainly reached that goal, but much more: we discovered what a great country the DR is. Dominicans are very friendly, open people with a great sense of humour. The landscape varies from lush green mountains where a.o. tobacco, bananas and coffee are grown to paradise beaches with white sands and palm trees. But, I say all this without wanting to sound like your guidebook, but with a strong advice: step out of your all-inclusive and stay in a place like Xoxxi in Cabarete. You will have all the comfort ánd the breakfast, but so much more opportunity to explore and discover all the possibilities the DR offers. Set in the middle of a green environment with lots of space, Xoxxi Cabarete is an excellent base to set out to your journeys and activities, like surfing, kitesurfing or just walking and sunbathing.
                                               
Is everything paradise? Uh, yep! Well, as a wavesurfer you have to get up early to catch some waves without the wind spoiling all the fun. As any other tourist staying there you have to get up early too, because the bread will still be warm.. But, walking with your board, short and slippers along the dirtroad, your head still sleepy, sun rising, passing some wild horses standing under the palmtrees, greeting the friendly locals  to check the waves a few minutes later: that’s pure happines!! Meet Bill and Bob, your devoted guards who will bark to the uninvited and eat your spiders. Meet their keepers, Chantal and Ybo, who will help and tell you everything you need to know or show you nice places. Meet Lucy and Carlos who will keep your rooms and the garden in clean shape.
 
I guess it’s clear: we had a really good time here. We also rented a car, spend a few days in Samana and drove around parts of the island, wich I can recommend stronly! We will definetely be back and stay at Hooked again. There’s a relaxed atmosphere, room for your equipment, it’s clean and friendly. You can reach lively Cabarete easily every day for dinner, drinks or whatever, but you return to the nice and quiet Encuentro.

If you are looking for a place to reconnect with life, To hear the waves crashing in the distance, To see the palm trees playing in the breeze, To lie lazily in a hammock, where time is of no consequence, Cabarete is the place to be. I would highly recommend Xoxxi in Cabarete over any 5-star all-inclusive resort. The place is immaculate, the gardens beautifully manicured, warm bread is delivered to your doorstep every morning, and Ybo and Chantal are charming, warm and hospitable hosts. This place is a stone's throw away from the beach, is a great spot for both surfers and kite-surfers, and is a 10-minute drive into Cabarete where the most delectable restaurants are to be found. You will be hooked!!!

We had a beautiful time in the Maldives. The Ocean View Villa's were absolutely beautiful and worth the extra money. The butler's were very obliging and did their very best to make us feel welcome. The surf was excellent, Rod went on about five boat trips and the rest of the time he surfed at Lohi's. I absolutely loved the pampering at the Coconut Spa where they have lovely ladies their to do the massages, pedicures etc etc. We have come back with excellent tans (would recommend taking own sunblock and lots of it), and sit in the shade!! It was so hot! It was a great place because you get a mix of so many different nationalities in one place. Thanks so much for organising our  honeymoon. We had no hiccups at all. We will definitely use your services again when we travel.

We had a wonderful trip; unfortunately we only had the first 4 days of decent surf though it was amazing. Fun playful 3-4 footers first 2 days, solid-hollow- glassy 6-8 footers on the third day got so many barrels and then solid 8-10 on the Sunday which was intense as our biggest boards were 6.3... Jon broke two boards and one wave tore his t-shirt in half as well. This was a wonderful experience truly untouched part of the world. We were fairly content chilling by the pool so didn't really get into any of the activities... Thanks heaps for setting everything up and you definitely will be hearing from us again we all had a wonderful time.

We had an awesome Maldives Surf trip. Great surf, great food and a great boat and crew. Dave the skipper sized up our capabilities on the first day and for the rest of the trip had us in spots perfect for our group. When the swell hit, while all the other boats were crowding the more intense spots, we were just around the corner in clean, fun, 3-4 foot uncrowded waves as well as a couple of days of 4-5 foot perfection at Junkies. We surfed every day and most of them for 5 hours or more. To top this off the boat was comfortable with heaps of covered deck space. Omar the chef dished up some amazing food (and heaps of it) and nothing was too much trouble for any of the crew. Thanks for recommending some of those other surf spots and putting the trip together for us.

Now I have returned to the 'rat race' I thought I'd better send an email to let you know what a FANTASTIC holiday. I booked the holiday with Xoxxi after coming across you on the internet. Although I had heard you were a very reputable company I really had no idea what to expect from the holiday...and whether I would be able to surf by the end of it! From start to finish the holiday went brilliantly. Booking the holiday was quick and easy and I must give Xoxxi praise for your efficiency and professional manner.

From the moment we landed in everything went perfectly. My friend and I were greeted as soon as we came through the airport and taken to the accommodation. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of our room and it more than exceeded our expectations, the complex is lovely and is the cleanest place I've ever stayed.

From that moment we were looked after us and you did a fantastic job. You introduced us to the local surf bars, recommended places to eat and really made us feel welcome. On the first day of our surf lessons you talked to us about technique, the sea, taught us a lot about the tide and also safety when on the beach among other things. Although I was a bit apprehensive about being in the sea, you helped me and made me feel more confident about being in the water. Xoxxi surfing coach was with out a doubt the best surf coach I have ever been taught by. As I have been coached on numerous occasions for sporting activities I have something to compare him with. His knowledge and love of surfing is apparent in his teaching and his enthusiasm is second to none. Watching how comfortable he is in the sea is extremely encouraging and shows you how much fun can be had with this type of activity. He always had a pleasant manner and never showed off which was great as I find many coaches are there for their own interest only. Over the week he really helped me to progress and encouraged me constantly, he didn't say a negative word all week. He had the same approach to others in the group and we all agreed that we definitely had the best surf coach. Whilst on the beaches there were other surf schools which we had a chance to observe. The people learning did not seem to get the same attention from their coach as we did and they certainly weren't being helped in the water as much as we were. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have enjoyed the holiday half as much if we hadn't been with him. As we were in the surf school all week it was important that we felt comfortable with our coach and we certainly did. He is ultimately a positive and vital asset for this type of holiday.

Thank You Xoxxi for a truly enjoyable holiday and for booking our surf lessons with someone who actually cares. And just in case you were wondering...I did manage to surf...standing up!
