Kandooma surf break is a zippy hollow right that will keep all standard of surfer happy. 3 other breaks are within a short 20 minutes boat ride with two lefts and another right (Surf transfers can be arranged directly with the resort and there is a western guide available to co-ordinate dhoni transfers at US$55 per 3 hour trip). South Male atoll is not as consistent as the better known North Male however if the swell direction is right there are world class waves on offer with no crowds. The advantage of this surf resort is that you do not have to surfing all day as the surf is so easily accessible and that makes this destination rather special, you can just catch a couple, and come back in for a relax!
